Splendour Bend'R
ITS SPLENDOUR TIME
So another day another dollar, or as i see it, another dollar spent... woo.
As every Aussie festival lover knows splendour In the Grass tickets went on sale for approximately 15 minutes before being SOLD OUT on the good old trusty MoshTix. The green room, Ah yes, the green room on MoshTix is either your best friend or your worst enemy as you wait anxiously to see if your day will be made, or alternatively they'll redirect you to a page that apologises and talks about a resale, but we all know that doesn't mean shit. Luckily after 10 minutes of the green room telling me "DON'T FRET AND DON'T REFRESH" i got redirected and lets just say had a fab day.
However that is not the point. The point is.....
WHAT IS EVERYONE WEARING?
You're always going to have your typical hippie love child group, the extra 50 shades sorta look, the barely there who wear nothing and the plain weird (but cool none the less). But it's all fashion and I say round of applause to those people who have the courage to pull off such a brave outfit.
Every year the trends fade in and out like a good old meme of FB and every year you see some funky fabrics on peoples bodies. Some how whenever a festival is around individuals feel like they can some what be themselves.. which is what i find weird. If you can dress like that at a festival why not every other day of the year?
Splendour is somewhat a drug that makes everyone go into a trance wearing weird shit and posting photos on Instagram to show the world their Splendour bend'r.
Take a look from 2016 and really think about the outfits.
You don't see people wearing these everyday and why? People just change into denim skirts and a top instead...
SO.. After looking at these pics what did ya think?.. Bit extra but hey extremely cool and surprisingly that is 2016/17 festival fashion, little bit of fabric no matter how much and you are done. Fashion is whatever you interpret it to be. Always express yourself and always remember the world is your runway or in this case.. SPLENDOUR.
